IN A MINUTE

The phone rang and my heart beats increased
The once cheerful voice I loved to listened everyday stammered
The thoughts were crumbled, entangled and I shivered
The soulless shadow moved fast, bidding good bye, re echoing over and over to my troubled ears
The wind whirled when I peeped through the windows
Holding the handset, I gasped; fear and sorrow embraced me as if at the sight of a roaring lion
Sweat gradually dripping to my feet.
She howled in agony: do not cry for the lord knows best
Eternal sleeping is inevitable for mankind.
Little did I know that the world will separate us?
The puzzles of life was left unsolved
How do I paddle through successfully?
Living without you is like growing grass in the dessert
I never thought I will miss resting on your laps
I will miss our morning pleasantries
My love, my world, my savior: when will I see you again to rekindle our love?
In times of trouble, whom should we seek after for help?
For a minute I wished heavens could come down to embrace my lost soul
In a minute we got a new identity: I was fatherless, you were motherless and they were orphans.
Little did I know that those who dwell in the shelter of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
